About Nightbase✦

Nightbase is a personal astronomy observation logger and planning tool. It is hereby shared with friends who enjoy looking up at the night sky.

What it does

Nightbase helps plan and document visual observations of the night sky — from tracking satellite passes and Starlink trains to browsing deep sky catalogs, charting the planets, and keeping a log of what you saw through the eyepiece.

Terms of use

• This is a private, non-commercial, ad-free website, a small side project.
• Free to use as it is.
• Users are encouraged to export their observation data and keep their own backups.
• The 'backup' function in the users menu will download all your data in a zip file.
